PUMTECK Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Common Questions & Troubleshooting
Find quick answers to the most common questions about PUMTECK professional inflation products.
General Questions
1. How accurate are PUMTECK electric pumps?
Our products, such as the AP1-P, feature industry-leading sensors accurate to ?0.1 PSI, ensuring professional-grade precision for every use.
2. Can I use these pumps for car tires?
While our ball pumps (AP1-P/AP1-M) are designed specifically for sports equipment, our specialized bike and tire inflators (like HT10 or BG01) can handle car tires for top-ups. Please check the max PSI rating for each model.
Battery & Charging
3. How long does the battery last?
Most of our electric ball pumps can inflate 30-50 balls on a single full charge. For bike pumps, expect up to 10 road tires or 20 MTB tires per charge.
4. How should I store my PUMTECK pump?
To maintain battery health, we recommend charging the device at least once every 30 days if not in use. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
Troubleshooting
5. The pump isn't reaching the target PSI. What should I do?
First, check if the air hose is tightly connected. If the reading seems inaccurate, you can reset the sensor by holding the "+" and "-" buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds while the pump is off (model dependent).
6. My pump is getting warm during use. Is this normal?
Yes, for high-pressure inflation (especially bike tires), the motor generates heat. Our pumps include thermal protection, but we recommend letting the device cool for 5 minutes after 10-15 minutes of continuous work.
